Gabby's Story

Gabby Williams is an 8-year-old girl with a rare genetic disorder that has kept her from aging physically. She has the skin and appearance of a newborn baby, and she is only 2 feet tall and weighs just 11 pounds. Gabby is also partially blind and unable to talk.

Gabby's condition is called microcephalic primordial dwarfism. It is a rare disorder that affects only about 100 people worldwide. People with this disorder have small heads and bodies, and they often have developmental delays. Gabby's case is particularly severe, as she has not grown or aged since she was a baby.
