Toronto Police investigating deadly shooting in North York
One victim pronounced dead, another seriously injured in shooting outside Tim Hortons
Toronto Police are investigating a deadly shooting in North York that left one man dead and another seriously injured.
Officers were called to a 24-hour Tim Hortons on Yonge Street, north of Sheppard Avenue, shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the restaurant.
One of the victims, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim, also a man in his 20s, was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Police have not yet released any information about a suspect or suspects in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
This is the second deadly shooting in North York in less than a week. On Tuesday, a man in his 20s was shot and killed in the Jane and Finch area.
